PRESENTATION GUIDE

Mode of Presentation
The conference will consist of both oral and poster sessions. The abstracts of all presentation are published in the Technical Digest. Each oral presentation is given approximatery 15 minutes which will be followed by a 5 minutes discussion period. For poster presentation, each author is provided an approximately 180cm-high 90cm-wide area on carpeted wall on which to display a summary of the paper.

Language
The Official Language of the Conference will be English. No translation will be provided.

Audiovisual Equipment
Each conference room will contain the following standard audiovisual equipment:
-Overhead projector
-2" x 2" (35mm) slide projector
-Liquid crystal PC projector (Epson ELP-7350 or7250)

-VTR (NTSC, PAL, SECAM with VHS, but NOT S-VHS tapes)

A PC projector, a VTR and a slide projector are not available without notification to the FOM2000 Secretariat by April 1. Please contact us at fom@ap.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp via e-mail with your request for these equipment.

Audiovisual Desk Check-In Hours
Monday 10 April 8:30 - 19:00
Tuesday 11 April8:30 - 16:30
Wednesday 12 April8:00 - 11:00

To ensure that the program runs smoothly, speakers who orders a PC projector, a VTR or a slide projector are asked to report to the audiovisual desk located in the FOM 2000 office to confirm equipment orders. These authors are requested to preview and preload their visual materials at least 20 minute prior to the start of their session. PC-AT display cable (min-Dsub 15 pin) and slide trays will be provided for authors who will use a PC projector and a slide projector for their presentation, respectively.

Preview Room
The preview room will contain the following equipment:

-Overhead projector
-VTR (NTSC with VHS tapes)
-2"x2" (35mm) slide projector
- Screen

Please note that PC projector, PAL and SECOM VTR are not available at the preview room. For previewing with these audiovisual equipment, you may use them at the conference room before and after the program.
